College Bowls: Car Care, Sun, Fight Hunger, Liberty, and Chick-fil-A

Meineke Car Care Bowl
Texas A&M vs Northwestern (+10, 69.5): Persa will be able to keep the Wildcats in this one, and playing the game in their backyard of Detroit won't hurt them either.  Aggies coming off a disappointing season and fired their coach.
The Pick: Northwestern +10

Hyundai Sun Bowl
Utah vs Georgia Tech (-2.5, 49.5): A lot of people are talking about the Utes already knowing how to defend the triple option because they've played Air Force before.  OK, but that was over a year ago and in that game they gave up 200+ rushing yards to the Falcons.  I'm not buying it as I think the Yellow Jackets have better athletes and want to prove their early season success wasn't a fluke.
The Pick: Georgia Tech -2.5

Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl
UCLA vs Illinois (-3, 47): The Illini are riding into the game on a six game losing slide that cost head coach Ron Zook his job.  Despite losing their head coach as well, UCLA is the first team with a losing record to make a bowl game.  This will likely be a pretty messy football game with both sidelines in disarray...
The Pick: Under 47

AutoZone Liberty Bowl
Cincinnati vs Vanderbilt (-1.5, 48): The Bearcats finish 9-3 and miss out on the Big East BCS berth.  Their consolation prize? Playing an upstart Commodores team from the SEC, whose home (Nashville) is just over three hours away from the bowl site of Memphis.
The Pick: Vanderbilt -1.5

Chick-fil-A Bowl
Virginia vs Auburn (-3, 49.5): Normally I'd pinpoint this as a conference mismatch in favor of the SEC.  However, I think Virginia is carrying a lot of momentum and want to showcase for the world that they have arrived by beating an SEC "power".  The Tigers have gone from a BCS title to a chicken sandwich bowl game, which is likely pretty deflating, so I don't expect their guys to get up for this game.
The Pick: Virginia +3
