College Bowls: Ticket City, Outback, Capital One, Gator, Rose, Fiesta and Sugar

TicketCity Bowl
Penn State vs Houston (-7, 56.5): The Nittany Lions are playing for pride. After the tarnished season, they fell pretty far in the bowls.  The Cougars and Keenum struggled against the one tough D they faced in Southern Miss, and State is even better.
The Pick: Penn State +7

Outback Bowl
Michigan State vs Georgia (-3, 50.5): The Spartans are coming off a disappointing loss to the Badgers in the Big10 championship game and they were blown out against Alabama last bowl season.  Georgia has a stout D with speed, and are battle tested in the SEC.
The Pick: Georgia -3

Capital One Bowl
Nebraska vs South Carolina (-2, 45.5): Spurrier will make sure his boys are ready for Martinez and the option.  Don't forget that this same Cornhusker offense only managed one TD against Washington in their bowl game last year...
The Pick: South Carolina -2

Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl
Florida vs Ohio State (+2, 44): Two strong defenses against two offenses who struggle to throw the ball more than five yards.  Expect lots of handoffs and a running clock.
The Pick: Under 44

Rose Bowl
Wisconsin at Oregon (-6, 71.5): Full disclosure - I grew up in Madison and am a UW alum.  That said, I think the UW offense is somewhat similar to the Trojan team that took the Ducks down.  After the tough loss to TCU last year in the same game, I expect an extra level of focus from Bucky.
The Pick: Badgers +6

Tostito's Fiesta Bowl
Stanford at Oklahoma State (-4, 73.5): Both of these teams were covering machines this year, going a collective 19-5 ATS (10-1 ATS on the road).  The Cowboys routed a tough Sooners team in the Big12 title game, and made their case to play in the BCS championship.  Needless to say they didn't get their wish to take on LSU, so I think they'll have a chip on their shoulder.
The Pick: Oklahoma State -4

Allstate Sugar Bowl
Michigan vs Virgina Tech (+2.5, 51): Both teams shouldn't be here, and they both know it.  After each team missed out on automatic bids, it's widely assumed they earned BCS bids for monetary reasons.  This is about as much as a coin flip as they come, but I'll give it to the team not counting on a third string kicker...
The Pick: Michigan -2.5
